Job Summary:
Gulf Coast Supply & Manufacturing, LLC (GCSM) is a privately-owned company with 150 plus employees in four locations across Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. Gulf Coast manufactures various profiles of metal roofing and trim, with a primary focus on the residential re-roof market generating over $70 million in annual revenue.
Gulf Coast Supply and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Plant Manufacturing Manager. This individual is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility located in Sebring Fl. In a divisional network of 4 manufacturing locations, the Sebring Plant Manager is a key hire to the leadership team. The facility employs more than 30 associates and operates 5 days a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all facets of the site (Raw Material Receiving to Product Loaded on trailers) utilizing LEAN Methodologies to improve the facilities primary metrics – Safety, Quality and Plant Performance.
Through team building and employee engagement achieve Zero Harm for all site associates
Improve and sustain floor level quality systems
Train and Lead the production team creating a culture of Continuous Improvement
Drive financial improvement with projects improving machine efficiencies and reducing waste
Management of Raw Material Inventory while improving accuracy
Recommended and present projects that require Capital Expenditures
Collaborate with Peers and Leadership across other sites establishing Best Practice
Ability to work with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or appropriate level of education and experience
Proven practical implementation of LEAN Manufacturing Methodology
Two to Five years plant leadership experience, preferably in building products manufacturing or metal forming
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills
Solid presentation skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, communication (both oral and written), organizational skills
This position provides a potential incentive bonus of up to twenty percent(20%) in addition to base salary
Physical and Mental Demands
· Must be able to work in a hot environment
· Ability to stand 6 hours a day
· Ability to lift 50lbs
· Must be able to operate and oversea machine operations in a safe manor
· Must be able to utilize critical thinking to achieve desired outcome in a fast-paced, high stakes environment.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common reports, sales orders, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, or regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present and communicate information to employees, management, public groups and/or board of directors.
PROBLEM SOLVING: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
