Job Overview
Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.
We are currently seeking full-time Milieu Manager shift vary. The Milieu Manager will provide effective, efficient management and coordination of programming for the residential facility. The individual must be able to maintain a stable environment and to provide guidance to Lead Mental Health Technicians (LMHT), and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) and residents. The incumbent may be on call 24 hours per day 7 days per week to assist with scheduling issues that may occur during normal business.
Duties
Ensure the efficient operation of the treatment milieu during assigned shift(s) including the implementation of appropriate resident activities and experiences in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and philosophy. Ensure all schedules are organized utilizing Shift Hound Program. Perpare schedules and assignments, complete’ record of attendance, and responsible for the approval process for requests for time off (e.g., Call out/off, PTO, ELB, LOA, etc.) Monitor calendars noting when off campus trips are to occur and ensure that sufficient staff are available to assist with off campus.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Health Care Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related in Human Services.
- One year of experience working with troubled youth.
- High school diploma and four years’ experience may be substituted where allowed by contracting authority.
