Gulf Coast Wound Care is a rapidly expanding, locally physician owned and operated mobile wound care group located in South Mississippi. Gulf Coast Wound Care is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing wound care team. At Gulf Coast Wound Care, our goal is to provide the highest level of wound care to improve the quality of life to the patients served. We are looking for providers that have a passion for healing wounds while working collaboratively with the nursing home team to meet the comprehensive needs of the patient in the nursing home setting.
Previous wound care experience is not required. The newly hired NP will not only be provided advanced wound care certification but hands on training with a Board Certified Hyperbarics wound care physician. Strong patient service and positive peer to peer contact with other healthcare professionals is paramount to building lasting relationships for the position.
We are currently seeking a Full Time NP to round in the nursing home setting. Set your own hours and NO WEEKEND or ON-CALL demand.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing wound care to residents working collaboratively in the nursing home setting, including assessing wounds, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Wound care experience is ideal but we will train and provide wound care certification for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and document wound characteristics, such as size, depth, and location.
- Provide wound care treatments, such as debridement, dressing changes, and topical medications.
- Educate patients and families on wound care techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment plans and progress.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
