Position : Inventory Clerk
Description
The inventory clerk is responsible for all interactions of the physical inventory and settlement process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Properly and accurately key in receipts and transfers as they arrive from the warehouse crew when product is received in or out.
- Process salesman hotshots, ASM exchange tickets and comps. Track exchange tickets and make sure they are closed within 24 hours and follow up on open hot shot tickets that have are not turned in within 24 hours after printing.
- Track the scheduling of all inbound loads and identify “Hot Loads” for the trucking companies and the various Warehouse Managers to limit OOS.
- Create all RTO forms for comp product while completing the comp product spreadsheet on a monthly basis.
- Key all incoming purchase orders into the RAS for various suppliers.
- Verify all transfers for GDH on a daily basis.
- Key all breakage and exchange / OOC product on daily basis.
- Assist warehouse manager with any special assignments.
- All other duties as assigned.
