Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information in electronic health records.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with coding for billing purposes.
- Educate patients on medication usage, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
