As a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will represent the hotel to guests throughout their stay, ensuring superior customer care.

You will support front desk agents, manage guest check-ins and check-outs, and handle special requests to ensure a pleasant stay.

We are looking for an individual that is flexible and can work schedules including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests.
  • Reservations: Handle same-day and future reservations, and understand cancellation procedures.
  • Coordination: Update room status with housekeeping and coordinate maintenance with engineering.
  • Sales: Use persuasive techniques to sell rooms and promote hotel services.
  • Daily Operations: Stay informed about daily activities and meetings in the hotel.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve guest complaints professionally.
  • Financial Transactions: Process check-outs and handle monetary transactions securely.
  • Staff Management: Oversee front desk agents, assist with scheduling, and train new employees.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure all front desk policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintenance: Keep the lobby and front desk area clean and organized.
  • Reporting: Compile and distribute reports to management and relevant staff.
  • Safety: Report maintenance, security, or safety issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel-related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the public, hotel staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of local areas and events.
  • Understanding of credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to safety and emergency procedures.
  • Proficiency with front office equipment and telephone etiquette.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with staff.
