- Prepare and post payroll entries into the General Ledger (GL) by the 3rd business day.
- Provide payroll, check, 401k, and HSA/FSA allocations to relevant parties on the 3rd business day after payroll processing.
- Submit payroll, live/agency checks, 401k, and HSA/FSA allocations to the Senior Accountant and AP clerk.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
- Prepare the BBC and Covenant reporting for the bank during each reporting period.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts accurately and on time.
- Works closely with the Controller and other team members to design and implement new processes and recommends improvements to existing processes.
- Assist the Accounting Team with month-end close by reviewing and posting journal entries, reviewing P&L, and making notes or adjustments as necessary.
- Prepares other reports as required by regulatory authorities.
- Support Controller in coordinating annual audits conducted by third parties.
- Review and post journal entries accurately and on time.
- Analyze P&L, identify variances, and communicate notable findings to the Controller and CFO.
- Create and maintain documentation for departmental procedures.
- Continuously review procedures for areas of improvement and ensure adherence across the accounting department.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas, functions, and modeling techniques.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- A master’s degree or CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance-related positions.
- Experience with Agility is a plus.
