HRIS Specialist
JOB SUMMARY :
The HRIS specialist primary focus of this position is to support payroll and the maintenance of the human resource management system (HRMS) Ceridian Dayforce. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- HR / Payroll : Support the HR / payroll function. Update HCM system as needed with employee maintenance, and other changes. Maintain the system to keep the integrity of system accurate.
- System Maintenance : Review, test and implementation of HRMS upgrades or patches. Maintain HCM tables. Present new features & changes to HR department.
- Production Support : Provide support for HCM, including researching and resolving HCM problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Reports / Queries : Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs.
- Individual Development : Maintain awareness of current trends in the Ceridian Dayforce HCM with a focus on product and service development, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HCM application / tools knowledge.
- HR Paperwork : Processing new hire paperwork and employee changes electronically.
