Body Shop Detailer

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Detailer to join our team.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Promoting an understanding of, and strong commitment to client satisfaction.
• Promoting and understanding of, and strong commitment to the 228 Collision Team.
• Washing vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.
• Applying wax to auto body, and wiping or buffing surface.
• Vacuuming interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Applying revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Cleaning engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Applying special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Inspecting vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Restoring appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces.

Using touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.
