Job Overview
Responsible for creating drinks and specialty cocktails efficiently and properly in a high-volume atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares bars and other beverage outlets for readiness.
- Prepares drinks quickly, efficiently and to specifications for customers at the assigned outlet.
- Responsible for opening and closing inventory and control of all transactions related with cash and credit cards.
- Responsibility for all opening/closing procedures of shift.
- Well versed in the SQUARE POS ordering system.
- Be advised of any ongoing events, cocktails, and other specials as well as general knowledge of the Carousel Club brand and operational standards to serve guests to the best of their ability.
- Be flexible with the work schedule: 10-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays and working hours until 3am.
- Follow the directives of all department SOPs and policies regarding uniforms, communication, and work duties.
- Responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Strong champagne, wine and liquor knowledge.
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Must always also be familiar with local liquor laws and adhere to ID procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Must be able to quickly prepare and serve a variety of cocktail recipes.
- Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Florida occupational license.
- Reliable Transportation.

The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
