About the Role:
We seek a dedicated professional to support the planning and execution of Building Automation System (BAS) projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls Metasys, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing BAS project lifecycles, including design, installation, programming, and commissioning automation systems for commercial facilities.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop detailed system layouts, wiring diagrams, and project plans using tools like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of BAS with HVAC, energy management, and mechanical systems.
- Provide hands-on support for configuring and troubleshooting DDC controls and BACnet communication protocols.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful completion.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years in BAS, controls, or HVAC project coordination, preferably in the commercial mechanical construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in BACnet, DDC controls, and BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, and Schneider Electric. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Visio is essential.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A local and stable work history in the Ellensburg, WA area, demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment to projects.
