WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Responsible for all customer relations in region leading to the protection of existing business, and development of new business. Explores, plans and implements new markets and applications for company equipment within budgetary guidelines and corporate strategy. Services, directs, and manages all sales activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Business Development and Customer Relationships
- Develop strong relationships with customers, from senior management level to operational level
- Prepare business proposals and assure contract renewals. Follow up on contract documents.
- Seek new business opportunities. Monitor the industry and markets, competitors' activities, and regional developments
- Effectively communicate customer activity that would affect sales and service goals
- Assess customers' production needs to advise proper format selections, operating speed, and other operating parameters
- Manage and assess effectiveness of Rep agencies in Asian Market and make recommendations for business growth
Service Department Collaboration
Collaborate with Service Manager to oversee staffing, work hours, and part orders to meet budget goalsMake recommendations based on customer interaction to service department to ensure machine performance and customer satisfactionJointly with Service Manager oversee and support repairs, overhauls, preventative and predictive maintenance on equipmentEnsure that training and guidance is being provided by the service department to the customer's personnel so the customer can successfully operate, maintain, and overhaul equipmentCoordinate routine machine audits and monitor machine performance against established standardsConsistently and accurately follow standard work procedures, safety procedures, policies, etc.Collaborate with engineering team to identify and address technical issues and implement solutions such as carry out Service Bulletin changesAdministration
Report to Director of Sales regarding business, market status, and service activitiesLease administration : communicate with corporate Lease Administrator to ensure all leases are up to date, accurate, and properly executed by the customerPrepare, input, and manage budget for machine and project forecasts, revenues, expenses, parts usage, and service hours.Monitor accounts receivable status and customers' financial performanceCoordinate, attend, and participate in industry trade shows and exhibitionsAttend and participate in annual sales meetingsSpare Parts Orders : review, approve, and submit parts orders to corporate for processing. Monitor parts orders statusesReview, edit, and ensure all shipping, freight, importation, and duties documents are correctWHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Some domestic and international travel by air and automobile required. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, the employee will sometimes be subject to loud noises while in the plant environment.
