Role Overview
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Duncan, SC.
This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and providing insightful financial analysis to aid decision-making. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the plant team and the extended finance team to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Aid month-end close process
- Prepare journal entries and accruals
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the sub-ledger
- Update and publish consolidated monthly accounting reports
- Generate and review various financial reports (Sales Forecasting, Order Intake, Invoiced Sales, P&L, Balance Sheet, and other KPIs)
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Representatives on monthly commissions
- Review and approve commission reports
- Update financial KPI data for monthly plant reviews
- Analyse monthly variances against budget and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Oversee onsite physical inventory management
- Review and update standard costings and ensure proper margins
- Conduct annual reviews of overhead, labour, and variable cost rates
- Complete annual cost roll for inventory and rates
- Ensure proper revenue recognition for sales
- Provide cash-flow forecasting updates
- Assist with operating cash flow forecasting
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for new plant production lines
- Update Sales Manager Commission Report for payroll processing
- Monitor internal controls for the plant
- Review and approve expense reports
- Assist with the annual budget process
- Provide forecast updates on jobs and costs
- Ensure sales and cost targets are met
