Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: One (1) year clerical experience in an office setting is required. Preferably in the healthcare field or a human resources department. An ability to work effectively under the stress of meeting deadlines and responding to change. Ability to relate well with health system employees, physicians, board members and visitors. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Proficient word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills.
- Licenses/Certification: SHRM - CP or PHR preferred.
Responsibilities:
We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services to our internal and external customers. As part of the team in the Human Resources Department, you will:
- Create an image of helpfulness and proper guidance with all HR situations that arise. You will present an organized work station, insure that work is complete, neat and accessible, and communicate and help to resolve problems.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly timed tasks such as payroll data entry, workers compensation entry, creation of FMLA packets, tracking required licensure activity, processing pre employment, and creating and managing employee files.
- Manage the online learning management system, tracking assignments, completions and maintenance of appropriate records in employee files.
- Help to plan and coordinate employee recognition events as requested.
- Coordinate the attendance of Employee Orientation Day, by preparing packets, managing invitations and scheduling rooms, snacks and meals.
- Ensures readiness for audits by running monthly HR file tracers.

Compensation: $21.89 - $26.81/hr, depending on experience.
