The Job:
The Yoga Instructor will administer exercise sessions to guests. Yoga Instructors will work to create a welcoming environment by providing an engaging and challenging exercise experience while providing modifications to those in need. The Yoga Instructor is encouraged to train clients on shift.
- Develop an engaging & challenging exercise experience unique to each guests need.
- Create an ongoing plan for guests, along with the benefits of fitness classes.
- Help members as needed on correct form and alternative moves. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to attendee needs, requests and concerns.
- Seek to learn members’ names and develop meaningful relationships.
- Enforce wellness center guidelines and policies.
- Attend and participate in fitness and group exercise staff meetings.
- Arrive no less than five (15) minutes before start of appointment or class.
- Always be in dress code (according to company handbook).
- Before any expected absences, find a substitute to cover your appointments and classes, while communicating all subs and days gone to both members (clients) and your supervisor.
- Maintain all certifications (ACSM, NASM, CRP/AED/First Aid) by attending required CEC sessions and/or re-certification sessions.
- Stay current with trends in the field and exercise industry.
- Keep exercise area clean and organized
- All other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:
- You are a detail-oriented self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and love luxury & lifestyle brands
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent recommended
- Training and Certifications in your specific class
- Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification
- Ability to work and remain calm and professional under potentially stressful situations to ensure guest satisfaction
- Dependable and available to work within the hotel on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
- One to two years experience in teaching fitness classes and personal training and/or Bachelor Degree in related field, is recommended
Additional Details:
- Yoga Instructors are leaders of the workouts. This requires them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. In the fitness room, coaches must demonstrate all exercises for members which can involve yoga equipment, yoga mat, yoga blocks, or other fitness equipment.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
