The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes.
- Assist with prep work and ingredient stocking as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent waste.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food preparation and kitchen policies.
