Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Dental Assistant and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
Gurnick Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Director of Admissions, Full-Time who are team players and available to work on-Campus.
Basic Function
The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for assisting in the management, training, and admission outcomes of the operations of Admissions at the Corporate Level with direct admissions oversight of Gurnick’s Online Admissions Teams. This will be done by ensuring Campus Level Admissions Managers & Advisors are consistently executing their annual campus operational plans. In addition, the Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for maintaining a highly professional image, the consistent management, introduction, and training of company provided policies and procedures, and proactively managing the day-to-day admissions operations ensuring campus level student enrollment goals and successes through KPI monitoring and oversight.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree (preferred)
- 5 years of increasingly responsible experience managing an admission, enrollment, or sales effort
- Outstanding verbal, writing, and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, and all constituencies involved in the recruitment of new students.
- Working knowledge and understanding of established professional codes of ethics and related principles of good practice for Admissions professionals.
- Fluency with the execution of reporting and data analysis.
- Organizational knowledge of educational institutions
- Preferred management work experience in a school environment
- Working knowledge or experience interfacing with hospitals and other healthcare organizations
- Travel required to Gurnick’s campuses: 30-50%
Salary Range, Full-time: $100,000 – $105,000
