What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Project Manager position at Gus Perdikakis Associates?
The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for large capital projects and complex project teams to deliver on the execution of capital & other critical projects site objectives. The main project will be the relocation of operations, packing lines and a process/making line. Ideally the Project Manager will have prior experience with dry powder handling, compression/compaction, tableting and product packing.
Much of this work can be performed remotely with on-ongoing trips to Lincoln, Nebraska as needed. This is a long term (up to 3 years) 100 million dollar project that requires someone with extensive expertise in Capital Projects Management, Construction Management and Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for management, budgeting and cost tracking, of capital projects of $10MM or above
- Develop estimate and scope for capital investment proposals derived from site’s strategy and objectives while providing technical guidance and evaluation for new concept technologies.
- Lead / coordinate a team of multidisciplinary and multifunctional professionals including engineers, designers, external contractors, safety & GMP professional and user to ensure capital projects delivery from inception to benefit realization
- Lead the design, spec, test, and install equipment and facility construction and liaise with operations for the handover of project from commissioning and start-up.
- Prioritization and allocation of project team resources to meet project needs while driving safety, compliance, and accountability for internal and external resources.
- EHS Responsibilities and ensuring safe work procedures.
Salary : $70 - $100
