The Lab Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to laboratory and R&D staff by performing routine laboratory testing and maintenance of laboratory equipment/systems. He/she will review data vs. specifications and perform lab investigations as needed; and perform basic troubleshooting of analytical methods and equipment. This position is an integral role with our client in Boston, MA. They are the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world and operate in over 75 countries.
Job Logistics:
- Monday - Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm EST
- Long term ongoing (no end date) contract position
- 40 hours per week
- Pay: $25-$26/hour benefits (medical insurance, dental & vision options, 401k, paid sick time, PTO accrual and paid holidays)
Responsibilities and Duties of the Lab Specialist
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Prepare reagents, samples, and media for experiments
- Perform basic laboratory procedures
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping using lab notebooks and internal systems
- Help identify and out of spec results and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
Salary : $23 - $26
