Job Overview:
Gustave A. Larson is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Customer Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing relationships with an assigned book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and grow relationships with an assigned book of business
- Proactively engage with customers as their main point of contact, offering support, providing information, and guidance
- Recognize opportunities within existing accounts for sales growth, including upselling and cross-selling products or services when appropriate
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using Customer Relationship Management Software
- Partner with Territory Manager(s) to share new sales opportunities and support the branch by assisting at the counter, answering phones, and other duties as requested
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Gustave A. Larson's products or services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years account management or sales experience or related education required
- Previous HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in using CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned territory
