We are looking for a Manager for our West End Location.
Job Summary:
As a gusto! manager, your team, fellow leaders and you will run a vibrant and busy healthy fast-casual restaurant. You will help oversee various aspects (including guest service, inventory, food safety, and team member development) of the operation based on your strengths and the business’ needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing overall operations of the entire business including Service, Production, and Catering.- Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring that all menu items are prepared according to gusto! recipes and standards
- Assist in managing Labor Expense and COGS
- Be a good steward of all gusto! property
- Uphold all gusto! standards
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and inspiring teammates to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the shop
- Help develop and train fellow teammates
- Monitor and supervise timely arrival and departure of scheduled Team Members.
- Ensure ALL operational safety, food safety, and food quality requirements/ standards are met every hour of every day
- Maintain ServSafe Certification
- Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards including wearing non-slip shoes and cutting gloves
- Audit the close from the previous shift
- Oversee daily prep list creation
- Responsible for ordering Fresh Point twice a week
- Responsible for ordering Sysco twice a week
- Reporting accurate Inventory weekly
- Available to work all shifts including opening/closing, weekends and holidays as needed
- Be comfortable standing for the entire shift and occasionally lifting items no heavier than 53 lbs
- Other assigned shop duties
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 years experience in a Shift Leader/Supervisor or Manager role, preferably in the food service industry or a food-related industry
- Ability to use electronic systems, such as computers and tablets
- Excellent people skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Available to work all shifts including opening/closing, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Ability to multitask
- Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
