Guthrie County Attorney's Office is seeking applicants for the position of Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative services and paraprofessional legal support. The role of the Legal Assistant requires a high level of discretion and attention to detail. The Legal Assistant will report directly to the County Attorney in consultation with the Office Manager.

Primary Duties:
- Case preparation, including reviewing records, assembling necessary information, and updating case files for hearings and trials.
- Organize and comply with court and office deadlines.
- Interact with witnesses and/or victims in preparation for hearings, depositions, or trials.
- Process applications for new payment plans and ensure compliance with existing payment plans.
- Draft and e-file documents.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with attorneys and Office Manager.
- May perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency, along with experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge to perform the primary duties listed above.
- Experience within/knowledge of the judicial system preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
