Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant with a flair for social media to join our team. This versatile role will support the day-to-day operations of our office while also assisting with the creation and management of our social media content. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and have excellent communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for both administrative tasks and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

· Office Assistance:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Managing and organizing office supplies and inventory.
  • Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assisting with office organization and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

· Social Media Management:

  • Assisting in the creation of engaging social media content (graphics, text, and videos) aligned with company branding.
  • Scheduling posts and ensuring consistent, timely updates across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Experience with social media management tools.
  • Monitoring social media activity and responding to comments or messages.
  • Analyzing social media metrics and suggesting improvements to optimize engagement.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop strategies for increasing social media presence and audience engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in communications, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an office assistant or administrative role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Jobber.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
