Guy M. Turner Inc. is looking for a results-driven Recruiting Manager to lead the company’s in-house talent acquisition, recruiting, and hiring efforts, specifically focusing on industrial and skilled trades-related roles. This role requires full-cycle recruiting experience and is best suited for someone who thrives on headhunting and proactive sourcing, rather than relying on inbound applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying, engaging, and securing top talent in industrial, construction, and skilled trades.
Key Duties:
- Actively source, recruit, and headhunt candidates through online platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and other relevant channels—not relying solely on inbound applications.
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to fill key positions with high-quality candidates that meet hiring manager’s expectations.
- Craft personalized outreach messages and conduct direct phone engagement to attract both passive and active candidates.
- Screen, interview, and assess applicants to ensure alignment with both the company’s culture and the specific skill requirements of hiring managers.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, ensuring that recruiting efforts are strategic and aligned with business goals.
- Manage and maintain talent pipelines to proactively address future hiring needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience in recruiting, sourcing, and headhunting for industrial, skilled trades, construction roles, truck drivers, and similar positions.
- Must have in-house recruiting experience for an actual company/employer
- Must reside within a 30-minute commute of our corporate office in Greensboro, NC.
- Highly skilled in leveraging online recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, ZipRecruiter Resume Search, and other platforms to identify candidates.
- Exceptional ability to identify, attract, and engage both passive and active candidates through phone call and emails.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work closely with hiring managers and leadership to fulfill hiring needs.
