Senior Project Manager (LTM and Engineering projects)

Essentia, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to recruit Senior Project Managers to play a key role within its Estate Development function. Responsible for non- clinical healthcare services, Essentia designs, builds and maintains healthcare infrastructure vital to the smooth running of healthcare services. This encompasses everything from construction projects and healthcare planning to waste management, housekeeping, transport and security. Essentia employs around 1,900 people, who provide essential support to clinical teams working across the acute hospital of Guy’s and St Thomas’, Royal Brompton and Harefield as well as the South East London Community and other partner Trusts. The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for the successful implementation of a portfolio of diverse projects including estates refurbishment, strategic and long-term maintenance, engineering, compliance and decarbonisation schemes. The role holder will act as the GSTT client and proactively lead external teams to deliver projects to time, budget and quality standards, accountable for and managing the project programme delivery processes through all RIBA stages. We are seeking individuals with demonstrable experience of leading the procurement and delivery of refurbishment, maintenance and engineering projects in a complex estate setting. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, given the need to proactively develop positive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience of delivering projects in live, operational, critical environments would be particularly advantageous.
