Purchasing Assistant
Summary
A leading flooring contractor is looking for a self-driven, detail oriented person to assist in the daily purchasing and receiving of product. This person must be organized and capable to multitask.
Typical Duties
- Placing and confirming daily orders for multiple distributors.
- Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promise dates.
- Work through and maintain a backorder report.
- Verifying and receiving material into the computer system.
- Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with assigned vendors.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Must be able to multitask, work independently, be detailed orientated, and organized
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
