GVH Distribution Northwest is seeking a motivated and leadership-driven Warehouse Manager in Ogden, UT. This experienced warehouse professional will oversee day-to-day operations in our warehouse and focuses on maintaining efficiency, safety, and compliance while driving employee performance and exceeding customer expectations. What We Offer:
- Annual Salary: $60,000.00
- Annual Bonus Potential: $5,000.00 (paid quarterly)
- Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:40pm w/ a 40-minute meal break

Key Responsibilities:
- Active Warehouse Oversight: Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, cycle counting, and order selection.
- Communication: Send weekly updates to the General Manager and provide monthly variance reports.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and maintain a high-performing team. Provide guidance, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Documentation: Ensure all paperwork (BOLs, manifests, load guides, OSHA checklists, etc.) is correctly processed and distributed.
- Meetings: Attend bi-weekly Warehouse Manager meetings and conduct weekly Receiving Meetings with Admin and Receiver.
- Inventory & Equipment: Monitor warehouse supply levels, evaluate equipment condition weekly, and ensure proper inventory management.
- Additional Duties: Perform general receiving and order selecting tasks.
General Receiving Duties:
- Coordinate inbound trucks and manage the purchase order calendar.
- Efficiently put away products and replenish stock locations.
- Ensure correct product receipt and perform slot replenishment and down stacking.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and perform cleaning duties as needed.
General Order Selecting Duties:
- Use pick lists to select and validate customer orders.
- Operate pallet jacks and handle products safely.
- Prepare and load trailers, complete necessary paperwork, and ensure trailer cleanliness.
- Follow all safety policies and complete safety training within 2 business days of hire.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse software systems and safety regulations.
- Strong communication abilities and budgeting skills.
- Experience in inventory management.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience.
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma/GED.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Physical activity required throughout the work shift.
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug screenings.
