Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop warehouse and inventory control teams, assign tasks and ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent incidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA, GMP, FDA and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop, maintain and deliver department KPIs and updates to Management.
- Manage inventory tracking system to record receipts and shipments.
- Utilize MRP system, batch reconciliation and cycle count process to ensure inventory data accuracy.
- Use inventory reports to determine excess or obsolete inventory.
- Work through dispositioning of inventory determined to be excess or obsolete.
- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
- Evaluating finished goods inventory, ensuring it’s ready to ship.
- Ensure regular attendance and punctuality of direct reports.
- Hire and train new employees for warehouses and inventory.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4-5 years’ experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Having working knowledge of Kaban systems, highly preferred.
- Possesses project management skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret an operating statement and P&L.
- Understanding on how to positively affect a P&L statement.
- Strong understanding of inventory management.
- Strong communication skills
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Requires demonstrated leadership.
- Proficient in Spanish Bilingual (Preferred).
- Must be familiar with using a computer, Internet, conducting computer assisted research.
- Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and basic warehouse safety.
- Must have reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Will work in a variety of settings in warehouse atmosphere with truck docks. Work is fast paced. Will be surrounded by constantly moving and changing inventory as well as forklifts. Will need to be able to travel between multiple warehouses on site and be prepared for an ever growing and changing environment as well as communicate with upper management regarding product location and counts.
