The RESERVATIONIST / EVENTS ASSISTANT will handle all reservation requests for multiple restaurants under GVO Hospitality.
Job Skills:
- Must be able to handle and organize yourself with a high volume of phone calls, emails, voice messages.
- Check emails and voice messages at the beginning and throughout your shift.
- Reply to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
- Answer all phone calls. Skills include a strong voice, friendly attitude, good communication and patience while booking reservations. Requires multitasking, as you will use the computer while on the phone to book reservations.
- Administer and organize table minimums each night with the Host team.
- Responsible for handling reservations for large parties.
- Check the weekly event schedule. Will need to refer to this schedule when informing guests about the rules or conditions of the reservation and cancellation policies to minimize misunderstandings.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience - Minimum 6 months to 1 year - Hospitality, general office and/or customer relations / reservations experience particularly in reservation booking, turn times, filling a dining venue.
- Experience as a HOST or MAITRE D' preferred but not required.
- EVENTS / NIGHTLIFE background preferred but not required.
- Experience preferred with reservation platforms; OpenTable, SevenRooms and Tripleseat.

$25.00 per hour
