What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonology Physician Faculty position at GW Redesign?
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking full-time academic pulmonologists to join the growing Division of Pulmonology/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Physicians will deliver inpatient and outpatient care to pulmonary patients at GW/MFA. They will also participate in the division's academic and educational missions. The MFA is an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University and is part of a large academic health center located in the heart of the nation's capital. These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (instructor/assistant/associate/full professor) and salary commensurate with experience ranging from $276,700 to $400,400. These positions are expected to begin as early as February 1, 2025.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine and must be licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Applicants must also have a record of providing excellent clinical care, research productivity, and clinical teaching experience, as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations, and/or references.
