Position Specific Summary
At the College of Professional Studies, this student will work directly with the Events and Operations Manager to perform the following tasks :
- Create Eventbrite pages for CPS events
- Help market events to GW students and partners
- Create event graphics in Canva
- Schedule post-engagement communications with event attendees
- Assist with CPS swag inventory and organization for events
- Assist the Events and Operations Manager with College of Professional Studies events
- Other duties as assigned
This position is primarily in-person with the opportunity to work virtually one day a week.
Standard Position Description
The student will perform basic administrative and logistical tasks supporting events. Tasks may include : event registration and check in, guest / patron services, scheduling of events, assisting with event set up and take down, participate in the creation and / or distribution of event materials. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
This is an entry level position, little to no experience required, all training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an office and / or planning events.
