GW Dining operates the on-campus dining program at GW. The GW Dining Team oversees 3 all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, 12 retail locations, and much more.
Position Specific Summary
Dining Services is part of GW's Business Services Team overseeing all food operations on both Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon Campuses. The Student Dining Auditor is a member of the GW Dining Services team and is responsible for conducting audits of all-you-care-to-eat (AYCTE) dining halls to ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities include :
- Conduct Dining Hall Audits
Visit all three AYCTE dining halls (Pelham Commons, Shenkman, Thurston) during each
shift.
Prepare an end-of-shift report summarizing audit findings, including photographs,
observations, and recorded temperatures.
Adhere to ServSafe food safety standards during audits.
Attend bi-weekly team meetings (1 hour) scheduled between 8 : 00 AM and 4 : 00 PM.
Perform additional duties related to dining services as assigned.
