POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Financing to lead our financing and loan procurement efforts for residential development projects and acquisitions. In this role, you will be responsible to obtain and manage real estate loans and financing, as well as maintaining strong relationships with lenders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with commercial real estate lenders and a deep understanding of loan processing and underwriting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead efforts to secure real estate loans and financing for multifamily residential acquisition and development projects.
• Develop and maintain strategic lender relationships.
• Oversee the loan application and underwriting process.
• Analyze and evaluate financial statements and loan documents.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with loan agreements and monitor loan performance.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and/or student interns.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Adherence to the company's mission and values in all aspects of the job.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7 years of experience in real estate financing or related roles.
• Extensive knowledge of loan processing, underwriting, and due diligence, preferably from the lender side.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale real estate loans.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000-120,000/year commensurate with qualifications and experience. This full-time position is considered exempt from overtime pay under the federal and state wage and hour laws.
