Bummer Free Summer Camp, licensed by the State of Wisconsin, runs for 10 weeks (June 13–August 22, with no camp on July 4th). We’re one of the most sought-after camps in Madison—fully booked by February every year!
We’re on the hunt for fun-loving, organized, and experienced camp counselors to join our incredible team. You’ll get to:
- Lead campers on exciting adventures to waterparks, zoos, amusement parks, bowling alleys, and more!
- Get hands-on with crafts, games, and activities that keep kids laughing and learning.
What You Bring:
- A love for working with kids and experience in a camp or childcare setting.

- CPR First Aid certification (we’ve got you covered with training at Gymfinity if you’re not certified yet).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise children between the ages of 5-12 on field trips, at our base camp at Gymfinity, and during activities.
- Execute lesson plans, activities, games, and crafts each day.
- Clean and sanitize areas of play and eating.
- Become CPR and First Aid certified (provided by Gymfinity).
- Be engaged and responsible for keeping track of kids and their safety and well being.
- If you are a licensed lifeguard, you can earn $18/hour on days that we swim.
