Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (flex according to business needs)
Reports To: Director of Supply Chain
Position Overview:
The International Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing both international and domestic logistics operations, with a primary focus on import/export shipments (LCL/FCL) and overseeing global freight processes. This includes coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and managing domestic freight for events, samples, and e-commerce channels like Amazon (LTL/FTL). The role emphasizes expertise in navigating global shipping methods, customs procedures, and optimizing costs across international borders. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in managing complex international logistics operations and diverse shipping requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Import & Export Operations:
- Manage international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Manage and ensure compliance with HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes, including accurate classification of products, documentation, and adherence to international trade regulations to prevent customs delays, penalties, or fines.
- Domestic Logistics:
- Coordinate domestic shipments for events, product samples, Amazon (LTL/FTL), and direct-to-consumer LTL/FTL Shipments.
- Partner with carriers to optimize transit schedules and cost for LTL, FTL, and parcel shipments.
- Compliance:
- Monitor adherence to international and domestic shipping regulations.
- Manage HTS Code Compliance, shipping documentation, and ensuring accurate reporting for audits.
- Stay current on supply chain and international services concepts, markets, and solutions.
- Event & Sample Support:
- Oversee logistics for event setups, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
- Manage sample shipments to clients, influencers, or internal stakeholders.
- Carrier Management:
- Work closely with freight forwarders, domestic carriers, and customs brokers to maintain smooth logistics operations.
- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers, negotiating competitive freight rates, optimizing shipping routes, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high service standards.
- Problem Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, or shipping issues to ensure on-time delivery.
- Departmental Collaboration:
- Partner with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock accuracy and seamless order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders on product delivery timeline to align with product drop calendar.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain logistics performance reports, tracking metrics like delivery times, freight costs, and service quality.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork:
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, customer service, and event teams to align logistics with broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, with expertise in domestic shipping (LTL, FTL, and parcel) and global import/export operations.
- Strong understanding of customs compliance, INCOTERMS, and domestic freight management.
- Experience with Amazon logistics, including LTL/FTL shipments and Vendor/Seller Central platforms.
- Proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Preferred experience with SQL and/or API integrations, including the ability to manage and manipulate data, automate processes, and connect systems for seamless logistics operations and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with E-commerce, event logistics and direct-to-consumer shipping is a plus.
