Residential Construction Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking a Residential Construction Assistant Superintendent for New Construction of Luxury Custom Homes and Remodeling Projects. This candidate will assist in projects and ensuring safety, high quality level and design that meets the project budget and schedule. This position will require project planning, budgeting and strategic time management for multiple projects. We are looking for a candidate that can provide professional and personable communications with all Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers. We welcome all candidates with hands on Carpentry/Framing experience in all construction operations. This position is full time and based in Southern Fairfield County.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Project Manager to ensure projects are developing according to plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintaining communication with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Keeping track of all subcontractors daily activities.
• Inspecting daily work in progress to ensure Subcontractors meets specifications and is on schedule.
• Assisting Project Manager with preparation of estimates for new projects.
• Attending all pre-job site visits, in person and online meetings.
• Monitoring and ensuring on-site/building code compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
• Promoting safety policies and procedures with all subcontractors and personnels.
