Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, including counters, floors, and equipment.
- Support the culinary team by providing clean dishes in a timely manner during peak service times.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and assisting with catering events.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen roles, including culinary tasks if needed.
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel kitchen operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
