About the Role
The Product Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing scheduling solutions and applications, including DNA (Denial Notification Application), for business units such as Utilization Services, Physician Advisors, and Regulatory Groups. This role involves gathering user requirements, supporting software improvements, maintaining application processes, and providing end-user support. The Product Analyst works closely with senior analysts, product managers, and development teams to ensure the continuous improvement of IT systems while aligning with organizational goals and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Product Maintenance and Enhancements:
- Document system maintenance and changes, working with senior analysts to approve and implement updates.
- Manage enhancement requests, prioritize them with senior team members, and determine feasibility.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and refinement, and build features or user stories.
- Perform and document quality assurance testing for system changes and conduct smoke testing in production.
- Maintain a strong relationship with vendors, stay informed about product roadmaps, and coordinate maintenance and releases.
Product Analysis:
- Gather and document user requirements through interaction with end users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and developers to design software solutions that meet business needs.
- Configure and customize applications in collaboration with internal and external vendors, including go-live preparations and user training.
- Support the business during implementation, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and system adoption.
Data Management and Integrations:
- Understand data capture, flow, and meaning to resolve issues and prevent data transmission failures.
- Support data exchange integrations between various IT systems and ensure effective functionality.
Product Support and Documentation:
- Address and resolve support tickets related to DNA and other IT systems.
- Create and maintain documentation, including test plans, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Configure systems, manage access requests and assist with downtime procedures and disaster recovery planning.
- Escalate and coordinate issue resolution as needed, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
