Construction Project Manager
Job Description:
- The project manager will be responsible for the overall office coordination and oversight of given construction projects.
- Location Palmer, AK (no remote applications accepted)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday Full Time
Essential Functions
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Set and monitor project schedules
- Process submittals, RFIs, change order proposals, progress reports
- Order materials
- Coordinate shipping
- Oversee subcontractors
- Communicate with supervisor, onsite foreman, architect, and owner representative
- Run progress meetings as needed
- Label and submit receipts/cost projections
- Occasional out of town meetings
Critical Skills and Experience:
- Self-motivated
- Proficient in writing and typing
- Working knowledge of MS office suite
- Construction management experience
- Working knowledge of submittals, RFIs, DCVRs, etc.
- Working knowledge of submittal exchange, Procor, etc.
- Able to build timeline project schedules
- Experience with remote and logistically challenging locations
Compensation: salary and bonus package dependent on experience
