JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will oversee the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services for the Digital Organization. You will be responsible for software andcontracts purchasing, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with Digital purchasing and finance processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers
- Knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
- Maintains understanding of technology trends
- Reviews purchase order claims
- Discusses defects / delivery problems with suppliers
- Negotiates refunds with suppliers for errors
- Uses current procedures to solve complex issues
- Takes an innovative approach on existing solutions
- Works independently
- Trains new Partners and provide input to employee performance evaluation
- Performs proficient structured work tasks
- Develops Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for high dollar purchase agreements
- Learns procurement functions related to assigned categories
- Provides input to the expense budgets and capital elements for assigned categories, when asked
- Communicates and works collaboratively with all Digital and other affiliated departments
- Leads projects or has accountability on projects
- Escalates unresolved financial or contract issues to higher level
- May work on strategic ad hoc projects to support senior management
- Adapts to change and exudes a positive attitude with a willingness to take on new opportunities.
- Contributes to process improvements
- Reviews legal terms in supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and mitigating legal risks
- Ensures that contracts contain appropriate terms regarding intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and dispute resolution
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS
Career individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently, receiving general instructions on new assignments, and a review of outcomes for technical soundness. Possesses complete knowledge of role and applies a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to assignments containing some elements of complexity. Most of the work is spent both independently planning and completing the design, implementation, and/or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies. May coach, direct, oversee, or review the work of lower-level professionals.
Networks with more senior internal & external stakeholders who may be unfamiliar with the area of specialty.
Bachelor's degree or role-relevant experience required. 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Office, procurement tools

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Function in a fast-paced, office environment
