Who We Are: H&H Color Lab is one of the largest professional photography labs in the nation, engaged in both the high-end portrait and wedding market and the high-volume school, sports and events market. With over 50 years of experience, H&H Color Lab is an industry leader in product development and design for high quality photographic prints and products.
What you will do: The Digital Color Correction Technician uses photo editing software to correct and optimize the color of digital images prior to printing.
Essential Job Duties:
· Use design software such as, Photoshop, Lightroom or InDesign to color correct digital images per standard procedures or customer specifications
Compensation: Pay starts at $20.00 per hour!
Work Schedule: Training for this position will take approximately 6 months. The work schedule during the training period is Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM. Once fully trained, the regular work schedule is Monday - Friday 5:00 pm - 1:00 am.
(After completing training and transitioning to the night shift, you will receive a $0.50 shift differential for working the night shift).
Requirements
To Join Our Team, You Will Need:
· Experience using Photoshop, Lightroom or InDesign preferred
· Ability to discern and discriminate color as dictated by a superior score on the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test. Hue test will be given during the interview process
· Familiar and comfortable working on a PC
· Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions regarding the quality of prints and determining whether or not they meet Company standards
· Must be able to read and write in English at a level normally acquired through a high school education
· Must be able to maintain regular attendance and work overtime as necessary
· Must be able to stand for entire work shift and use hand tools
