Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage and mentor plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards and minimize defects.
- Utilize SAP for inventory management, production scheduling, and reporting.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain budgets while ensuring cost-effective operations within the plant.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plant management in an aggregate plant.
- Quarry experience required.
- Asphalt experience a plus
- Union experience required.
- Degree preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $104,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
