We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing ATF Form 4473 for accuracy and compliance during firearm transactions.
- Entering and verifying data for firearm purchase forms.
- Operating the register and processing transactions, ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Handling credit/debit card payments securely.
- Managing daily company emails, including compliance-related communications.
- Confirming cash register totals and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Processing refunds or credits efficiently and in line with company policies.
- Assisting with end-of-day register closings and supporting other departments.
- Performing basic math for payments and change, ensuring transaction accuracy.
- Maintaining an accurate cash drawer following federal and company guidelines.
- Keeping the checkout area clean and compliant.
- Answering the phone courteously and directing customers as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned in compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
This position ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to cash handling, return procedures, and firearm transactions.
