As a Drafter at H&K Equipment, you will play a key role in supporting our engineering team by creating accurate technical drawings, conducting parts research, and ensuring seamless purchasing processes for replacement parts. Your work will be integral in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of 2D and 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Research and identify parts for material handling equipment and find suitable replacements when necessary
- Purchase replacement parts and ensure timely delivery to meet project deadlines
- Create and modify detailed technical drawings and schematics for various material handling systems
- Develop hydraulic schematics and diagrams to support design and operational needs
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to ensure design and parts requirements are met
- Assist with 2D and 3D modeling using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Perform other related duties as required by the team
- 1-2 years of experience in drafting or a related field (preferably in material handling or industrial equipment)
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and ability to read and create schematics
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred
