Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in highway construction, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications.
- Confer with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures, interpret specifications, and resolve construction issues.
- Inspect work in progress to guarantee that workmanship meets standards and schedules are met.
- Prepare and review reports on progress, materials used, and costs, adjusting work schedules as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or one year of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
- Basic computer skills, including internet, email, and digital camera usage for work documentation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed.
