What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Civil Construction Specialist position at H&K Group?
H&K Group, Inc. is a leading heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Pile Driver to join its team. This dynamic role involves driving pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures, working closely with the Pile Driving Foreman on job specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of load charts and be able to interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed.
The ideal candidate will have related experience and/or training, with a working knowledge of rigging and crane setup and lifting plans. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with 2 years of relevant experience and/or training in operating heavy equipment used in highway construction. OSHA or other relevant safety certifications are also highly valued.
