Summary
We are recruiting a Research Project Specialist to join us in the Head and Neck Endocrine Oncology Department to oversee and coordinate research about endocrine tumors such as thyroid and adrenal neoplasms led by Dr. Colleen Veloski and her team in the Endocrine Tumor Program. This position will have a pivotal role in advancing innovative research efforts by working with physicians and and cross functional teams to gather, organize and analyze data from various sources including online databases, surveys and other datasets. The Research Project Specialist is responsible for cleaning, structuring, and integrating this data into a comprehensive database that serves as a foundation for answering key research questions to enhance patient outcomes in endocrine oncology.
Position Highlights :
- You will be involved in creating and refining databases of various endocrine tumors for the purpose of facilitating retrospective research projects.
- You will play a vital role in coordinating and managing research projects from inception to completion.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with database and project management programs.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and project management principles.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, proficiency in data management and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees day-to-day study progress on ongoing studies and the work of study staff and trainees.
- Must be able to deliver results in a timely and resource-effective manner.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of science-related experience and/or Research Administration relevant experience such as project planning and working within the context of timelines and deliverables.
- Research Administration relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in the use of basic office equipment, computers, and MS Office software environment.
