Summary
We are recruiting a Research Project Specialist to join us in improving lung cancer outcomes by assisting in the work being performed in Thoracic Oncology.
Position Highlights:
• Works directly with Dr. Jhanelle Gray and the thoracic research team working on the assigned projects and protocols.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders on projects.
• Coordinates a wide range of research and educational projects that might involve diverse stakeholders.
• Access to state-of-the-art research facilities and resources.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Ability to work well under pressure of meeting mandatory deadlines.
• Experience with project planning and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Must be able to deliver results in a timely and resource-effective manner.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Credentials and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of science-related experience and/or Research Administration relevant experience such as project planning and working within the context of timelines and deliverables.
o Research Administration relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience in the use of basic office equipment, computers, and MS Office software environment.
