What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Court Associate position at H MART - Store?
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors in the food court area
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other furniture surfaces
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed
- Clean and sanitize food court counters, kiosks, and all other food court areas as needed
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors as needed
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as necessary
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols at all times
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals
