What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate position at H&P Executive Search?
H&P Executive Search are advising a Cravath Paying Am100 firm on a Complex Insurance Coverage Associate hire across Florida or Texas. Contrary to general consensus with Big Law firms, the Hiring Partner is more focused on the successful candidate having experience with Insurance Coverage Policies, reinsurance, or regulatory matters rather than the firm you come from.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the practice partner in advising on public policy and regulatory matters.
- Assist both the Carriers & Policyholders. (Consideration will be given to those candidates with just one of these areas as long as there is a hunger to branch out)
- Conducting legal research, prepping written documents, analysing insurance related agreements, attend hearings, review due diligence documents and prepare filings
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Insurance Coverage regulatory matters, policies, or reinsurance
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida & Texas Bar
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work BigLaw hours, circa 2250
